We changed to A to Z both out is dissatisfaction with a pharmacy of one of the major national drugstore chains AND based on the many positive comments from new friends and neighbors in the nearby retirement community we recently joined. We are very happy with the service Kristen (owner/pharmacist) and her colleagues provide.
Today, I arrived at the pharmacy to pick up a Rx 20 minutes after the normal opening time. The door was locked. However a young woman was there to explain that Kristen was experiencing a emergency and opening would be later. The impressed me. Someone among those who operate the pharmacy was thoughtful to be there and explain the problem. I am hoping Kristen's situation resolves soon, and have no doubt the pharmacy will quickly reopen. It is, one might consider, a situation that a single-pharmacist pharmacy might reasonably expect to have occur. I am sure than when Kristen's situation resolves she will consider how such emergency happenings can be handled. My most critical right now, though,
is Kristen's wellbeing.

Switched from Walgreens to here to try a family owned pharmacy. First couple visits were fine, everyone was pretty short and direct but it was quick so no problem. Last couple visits some of the staff was honestly rude. I travel every weekend to visit family and decided to transfer from there due to the location and lack of friendliness, to pharmacy closer to my job. When I called for assistance, they were rude to me (not the first time they complained directly to me or in front of me regarding rx transfers) and I had to call my doctor for assistance instead. Switched to a different family pharmacy in Raleigh and had a much friendlier experience today. Glad others had such friendly experiences but that wasn’t mine. Additionally, their automatic messaging system does not reflect their closure hours and texted that an rx was ready for pick up on a Saturday that they were in fact closed upon arrival.

What a lovely team. I was looking for a pharmacy that could help me secure a 90-day refill of my meds prior to several back-to-back business trips. Even though my insurance wouldn't allow me to fill the larger supply with A to Z, Kristen still went out of her way to try to help me find a solution, even if it meant referring me elsewhere. After many frustrating experiences with the bigger chain pharmacies, it was such a breath of fresh air.

We used to use CVS they were so dysfunctional and slow. I highly recommend A-Z, not only for their amazing customer service but also for better pricing. I will never switch back to Corporate America.

I can't say enough great things about A to Z Pharmacy. The staff is always kind and welcoming, and I love supporting a woman-owned business.
Kristen and the rest of the staff always greet me by name and Kristen has even caught mistakes about my prescriptions from my own doctor's office, called me personally to confirm whether or not it was correct, and then went above and beyond by reaching out to the doctor herself to make sure it was corrected. This level of service and attentiveness is what sets A to Z Pharmacy apart from other pharmacies.
Even though they are incredibly busy, I have never felt rushed. The staff's dedication to their work and their customers is evident every time I go in. The ability to randomly drop in for a vaccine, if needed, adds an extra layer of convenience and confidence.
Thank you, A to Z Pharmacy team, for all that you do. You have proven that exceptional customer service is still alive and well in today's world.
