I have been using Wendell Drug since 2004. The staff and friendly and helpful. If I've ever had issues with my prescriptions, they were insurance related, not the fault of the pharmacy. Highly recommend.
The BEST pharmacists & customer service you can get. It's like getting your prescriptions from family, (your favorite family members). They actually care about you & go out of their way to look out for you. You won't find pharmacists like these ladies at the big chain drug stores. Regular customer for years, & hopefully, for many years & years to come.
There is no comparison for what small town service with a smile can do vs a big box store. Call-in refill system will give you a time your Rx will be ready, but I almost always get an automated call before that time saying it's ready for pick up. If they see you coming they will have your Rx ready at the window before you even pull up. If I call with a question I speak to a pharmacist right away, and I've even had them offer to stay open a few minutes late when my husband was trying to get there to pick up meds for a sick child. I don't know what happened with the one reviewer, but my family has not experienced anything like that in the 10+ years we've gone there. We briefly had to switch pharmacies due to insurance and it was miserable!
Have been with this drug store many years. They know me by name. Their service is outstanding. My daughter uses them too and she is away at college. It's just nicer staying with people who know and care about you and who you know and care about.
I think it’s sad that someone seen in the ER overnight can’t get their pain meds In a timely fashion. First reason was they didn’t have in stock. Had to get from Zebulon. But we couldn’t go there & get it. It’s now been 4 1/2 hours later & we’re still waiting. Now for the delivery guy. While we have to watch my mom cry b/c of the pain she’s in!
