Great to have a locally owned pharmacy nearby that is there when you need them. Travis is kind, helpful and his staff are friendly. When I switched from a big chain, they made it easy by transferring the prescriptions. They've helped me with medications and flu shots for my family. Convenient location and an easy app to communicate them with are helpful too.
Me and my family have been patron of Falls River Pharmacy since 2020 and truly love supporting local businesses. On a good day they would receive a 3 or 4 star rating. Often I had scripts filled I did not need or over-charged for medication that took days for the pharmacy to provide a refund if I did not catch the error at the time of pick up. I decided to transfer out earlier this week when one of my monthly auto-fill medications for a chronic condition had not been filled in over 2 months. I had requested it to be filled in-person and a tech denied the fill and told me I should not be out. I went home to double check if she was correct, trusting the tech. She was wrong. I ran out of the medication on a Saturday and left a voicemail. I called the pharmacy again on Monday to check the status. I was told by the pharmacist they were working on it but had to order it and it would be ready tomorrow. They could not offer a reason why they had not filled and auto-fill medication in 2 months, but filled my other medications. I was told I could call my provider and have them call another pharmacy to fix their mistake. The next morning I called to check the status of my medication. They did not order the drug and it was not filled. Harris Teeter now has my business and the medication was much cheaper than at Falls River Pharmacy. The staff was also very friendly.
This is an excellent pharmacy owned by locals with wonderful and friendly staff. They provide exceptional service and individual attention that you won't encounter at a large chain pharmacy. Also, their walk in service for vaccines is fast and super convenient!
Our school has partnered with Falls River Pharmacy for over 10 years in providing flu and covid shots for staff and children. Travis and his team are knowledgeable, friendly, and go above and beyond to accommodate our needs. Outstanding, professional service!
I’ve been seeing Travis and team at Falls River for years. They’re great. I made the switch a few years ago because I was tired of the Walgreens and CVS carousel. I wanted to go somewhere that folks would know me and take care of me. I get that and more from Falls River.
