I forget how much I love this pharmacy and their window service! Truly blessed to have them down the street from where I live
I initially left a good review of this pharmacy but my subsequent experiences have been awful. I will preface this review by saying that I'm a pharmacist licensed in another state. There have been multiple mix-ups in communication that resulted in errors in insurance billing and almost getting the wrong Covid vaccine. The staff in every instance did not listen carefully. This morning I called to see if they could order oxalic acid from their wholesaler so I could remove some rust stains from linen. The clerk who answered the phone put me on hold while they checked and came back with the response "I'm sorry but we don't do that for customers". Don't do what? Special order items? So not only did my encounter today put the quietus on any future dealings with Falls River RX but it prompted me to write this review that was a long time coming. While others clearly have had positive experiences, mine have been nothing short of frustrating.
We have only been in Raleigh for about one year and of course we needed a pharmacy and Falls River was recommended. These people are the finest in the world, always polite and ready to accommodate the customers needs. Both my wife and I live in a senior facility without any vehicles, and it is a great benefit to know that our prescriptions and other needs can be delivered, always by someone with a smile on their face . Some of the nationally known pharmacy's could take lessons from Falls River.
Travis and his team are very helpful in explaining the medications and side effects to their customers. Their customer process at the pharmacy has been friendly and informative every time I have visited. They spend the extra time explaining and providing information to me to make me feel more at ease. I am glad we have a local pharmacy like Falls River Pharmacy rather than the online service for that extra bit of information and quick turnaround on new prescriptions. Fall River Pharmacy networks well with my wife and my doctors. Great job; informative and friendly team.
All the staff are very friendly and helpful. They are very quick to fill my prescriptions, even when I’ve forgotten to call in something until the last minute. My family always gets our flu vaccines here as well and have had great experiences. We’ve never had to wait either. I’m so happy to support a local pharmacy.
