Typically they have been incredibly helpful and the pharmacist easy to work with but the drive through always struggles with customer service. They can’t seem to get anyone that is nice and doesn’t have an attitude like we are bothering them and making them actually work for once. I really want to support local but this local store is making it really hard.

Based on this pharmacist needing to reply vehemently and argue with every single criticism and complaint, I wasn't going to move my prescriptions to this pharmacy.
I will say in my opinion the optics possibly aren't helping you attract new customers, however, because I recognize my disdain is often doing what may appear to be the same thing and often times, justifiably so, but I’m striving to reduce my own myopic hypocrisy.
So I’m going to try to be compassionate to myself and extend that to this new pharmacist, as well.
I'm quite aware at times I’m looking through a warped lens into what might be a funhouse mirror or may just as likely be my own projection. When in doubt, going scorched earth when an olive branch would suffice is a no brainer, literally. ❤️

My Go-To Pharmacy. Fast service. Convenient drive thru. I enter off main st and exit onto Ligon Mill. They've beaten Walmart prices and Walgreens.

I moved my 3 medications over. They called me saying they could save me money vs my insurance with a big deductible. They even deliver my medications. I was a pharmacist for 26 years before being stricken with a cognitive disease. I appreciate the effort from the nice staff.

I thought this would be a great option as they are in-network for my insurance policy, they have a drive-up and its an independent pharmacy not beholden to a large corporation. But what a fiasco. They refuse to fill a script because, in the words of one of the staff "your insurance isn't paying us enough so the cost is $[full price out-of-pocket]." I contacted my insurance company and the rep contacted them directly and was told the same thing - your not paying us enough. And, on top of all that, the rep reported to me that the staff member was rather rude to her and completely unprofessional.
If you agree to the terms of a contract with an insurance company, you are obligated to fulfill those terms, just as the insurance company is obligated to fulfill their end of it. This pharmacy is in breach of its agreement with an insurance company and I will be contacting as many as possible within my insurance company to hopefully get them off their in-network list.
