These caring folks will be missed in East Durham. We have developed a family type repor in relatively a short time span. I have never experienced such a caring and personable experience with any other pharmacy as I have with the Russell's. Your presence in East Durham will truly be missed. I love being able to support an independent pharmacy, a small business in Durham, rather than large conglomerates (like CVS and Walgreens). Dr. Russell is terrific. He’s patient, kind, knowledgeable, and takes the time to make sure the customer understands and knows how to use their prescriptions. His staff (mostly comprised of the members of his family) are friendly, attentive, helpful, and cheerful. It’s truly a delight to visit them to pick up prescriptions, supplements, and other medical needs. I could not recommend this pharmacy more highly!
This pharmacy is exceptional! Customer service is far above what I normally expect from a pharmacy. They pulled out the stops to make my visit comfortable, relaxing, and enjoyable. Getting to know Darius (Dr. Russell) was a real highlight of my visit and it was so fun to talk about the pharmaceutical memorabilia on the shelves. If you need a prescription filled, any over the counter meds or bandages, or just need a friendly face, a snack, or a cup of coffee, I highly recommend stopping by Russell's.
It was suggested that I come here by a stranger who saw the rudeness i experienced at CVS this past Sunday. I came by today, and the customer service was OUTSTANDING!!! I asked questions about transferring my kids medication here and I was provided with all the information. It's family owned ✅️ Black owned ✅️✅️. This is something great for my kids to see.
Best pharmacy in Durham! They are always so kind and helpful. I had a prescription called into them that they were unable to fill so Darius took the time out of his extremely busy day to call around to other pharmacies in the area and directly transferred my prescription. I can’t recommend them enough!
