I was passing through town when my girlfriend became ill. It would have been a nightmare if not for the intervention of this pharmacy. They handled my questions and concerns about the medication that was prescribed with patience and professionalism. The customer service here was exceptional and the pharmacist spent a lot of time to make sure that we were knowledgeable about our circumstances and options available. He even directed us to a more affordable medicine. I cannot recommend this place enough!
Very rude experience with the current/owner pharmacist. He always seems stressed and harried but that is no excuse to treat me rudely. The previous owner, Dave, was wonderful and caring. They lost me as a customer.
I moved from Asheville to Chapel Hill. My pharmacy in Asheville was just like Southern Village. Small, family owned, friendly, professional, always helpful, and welcoming. I’d never go to a big box pharmacy when it have Southern Village Pharmacy.
Exceptional service and small town vibe. I wanted a specially compounded formula, and they had it ready asap. I felt like their only customer with the attention they gave to it!
New management has killed my favorite pharmacy. Since the original owner left it has only been hassles, redirection to other pharmacies and loss of the friendly feel... so sad.
