I started using this pharmacy several months ago since they were the only local place that could fill a certain prescription. I thought it was convenient that they offered an app/online access to fill prescriptions. After using this feature, however, when I went later that day or several days later, my prescriptions were never ready and I had to wait. I even tried the option in the app/online that I needed the medicine as soon as possible. I would still arrive and my medication(s) would not be ready.
Yesterday, I used the app to fill three prescriptions. I went in first thing this morning and only one was ready. One prescription apparently had to be ordered but none of that got communicated back in the app or by their business. When I asked why I could never seem to have my prescriptions ready even after a day of calling it in, the pharmacy tech acted like I was preventing her from filling my prescription. She told me that she had to order it and she would like to fill it if I let her. I asked to speak to the owner and was given a pharmacist who really couldn't help other than say she was sorry. While I was talking to the pharmacist, the tech was slamming things around looking for my prescription that was ordered.
When I was told that my second prescription was ready, I asked about the third. They never received it. The pharmacist had to check a different system to see that I requested it in the app but it didn't go through. I was told I need to call the doctor to have it filled. Everywhere else, the pharmacy would call and request a refill but apparently not here. I asked why the app allowed me to fill the prescription if it wasn't available and was told they sometimes have problems with the app. I asked why someone from the pharmacy couldn't call me and tell me that I needed to call the doctor to get it filled, I was again given an apology. When I asked again to speak with the owner I was told he wasn't there. I never raised my voice to any staff member while I was there. I will admit I was direct in my tone when I voiced my displeasure with their customer service but I was never loud or obnoxiously rude. Regardless, it was obvious I would get no further support/explanation from anyone behind the counter so I left.
When I got home, I called my old pharmacy to have my records transferred back. I only left because they could no longer get the one medicine I needed. Honestly, if I have to deal with this level level of customer service, I will go without the medicine.

I should have left this review a long time ago. My child was undergoing chemotherapy, so had to take so many meds. We switched to village pharmacy because it was closer. The lady that was there most of the time was so kind and compassionate to me during that difficult time. I really can't express how much her kindness meant to me. I am sorry I don't know her name, but she is treasure. The whol

We tried a few pharmacies and ended up choosing Village of Wake Forest. Staff is excellent, pick ups are easy, they let you know when your prescription is ready, they're quick, responsive and very professional while maintaining that small time intimacy that every other pharmacy lacks.

Probably the best pharmacy I’ve even had the pleasure to use. The pharmacists are top notch and go above and beyond.

I have been a customer of Village Pharmacy for a few years now and have never had a bad experience. Phoning in prescriptions and picking them up is always easy. Any questions I have are answered assuredly. But moreover, the staff is professional, friendly and does not hesitate to make sure I am taken care of every time I am there. I highly recommend.
